Bought ten of these and used them for four weeks on the GR11 hike in the Pyrenees.Just fantastic10 of these and plastic bag came in at 35gAbsolutely excellent holding power.When pegging down my tent, one guyline would come under the most strain. The one at the front, forming the vestibule and giving the tent shape.If while setting up i put too much pressure on the line the peg might come loose. But once everything was set up and pegs in place a peg never came loose. Even if they are not in the ground quite fullyThey can bend if you force them against a rock or tree root, but i never had one break. they can just be bent back into shape.If your in a rocky and difficult to use tent peg terrain, due to their thick shape it can be difficult to get them down.
